Hamilton Mall Evacuated Due To Electrical Fire
The Hamilton Mall was evacuated and closed Thursday following a lunchtime fire in a mechanical room.
The mall, at around 1:00, was evacuated as a precaution and no injuries were reported. According to a statement from the Hamilton Township Police, fire crews were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
The three anchor stores, Sears, JCPenney, and Macy's reopened around 2:30 this afternoon while as of this writing at 4:00 the mall itself remains closed.
