Two men are facing charges -- and are currently both wanted -- after Hamilton Township police seized $11,000 in cash and 11 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated $40,000 following a traffic stop Thursday night.

Hamilton Township Police say the vehicle stop happened just before 8:00 on Wrangleboro Road at the Atlantic City Expressway entrance.

A press release states officers detected a strong odor of marijuana and a subsequent investigation revealed the driver, 26-year-old Kevin Moulden of Mays Landing and 29-year-old Timothy Spencer III of Baltimore, were in possession of over $11,000 in cash and drug packaging material. The $11,000 was seized as part of the investigation and Moulden was released from the scene. Spencer was in possession of marijuana and was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana Under 50g and later released on a summons.

Their car, a Dodge Charger, was seized and towed from the scene. Officers obtained a search warrant to inspect the car and they found approximately 11 pounds of packaged marijuana with a street value estimated at $40,000 inside.

Since both Moulden and Spencer were released prior to the search of their car, cops are now searching for the pair. Anyone with information on where they may be is asked to contact police at (609) 625-2700.
