Cops in Hamilton Township are asking for your help as they search for a driver who crashed into another car Tuesday night and didn't stop.

The incident, according to police, happened at around 8:50 Tuesday night on the Black Horse Pike near Tamminen Road, which is in the area of the big blueberry field.

Preliminary investigation revealed a 2010 Nissan Sentra, operated by Darnell Hicks (37) of Sicklerville NJ, was traveling westbound on the Black Horse Pike when a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed struck Hicks’ Nissan Sentra from behind causing it to lose control and overturn. The vehicle that struck Hicks’ Nissan did not stop and continued driving west on the Black Horse Pike leaving the scene of the accident.

Hick sustained minor injuries and the other vehicle is believed to have sustained heavy front end damage. Police were not able to obtain any other information or even a description of the vehicle that caused the crash.

The crash remains under investigation. Anyone who may have seen a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in that area Tuesday night is urged to call Ofc. Miller of the Hamilton Township Police Department at (609) 625-2700.
