Hands Down, The Best Christmas Spot in Cape May City, New Jersey
It’s The Most Wonderful Time of The Year.
And, make no mistake about it, there are many fabulous people, places and things to choose from in Atlantic and Cape May County, New Jersey.
For example, there’s Story Book Land in Egg Harbor Township, (Atlantic County) New Jersey and their more than 1 million Christmas lights.
Our focus here is on Cape May City, New Jersey, where the undisputed, “pound-for-pound” champion (in my view ) is Congress Hall, on Beach Avenue.
Earlier this week, the massive, 35-foot-tall Congress Hall Christmas Tree arrived (see below).
Here (below) is a very young Noah Hurley Baker on The Great Lawn, posing in front of the massive Christmas Tree about a decade ago … to give you an idea just how tall the Congress Hall Christmas Tree really is.
Congress Hall also sets-up a great outdoor Winter Wonderland, with a whole bunch of boutique shops, whereby you can do your Christmas shopping.
There are unique gifts, clothing, food items and so much more available to purchase.
The Congress Hall Train is a fun ride for children and adults alike.
There is also a spectacular carousel ride (not pictured), located on The Great Lawn.
In the Congress Hall outdoor Winter Wonderland, you can get hot chocolate and many other delicious homemade treats.
Indoors, there is the iconic Breakfast with Santa at Congress Hall. It takes place in the Ballroom and we have enjoyed it as a family many times … along with another Christmas Tree in the hotel lobby and a vast array of elegant decorations.
This Christmas season, take your family to Congress Hall … where I promise that you will make great family memories together.
Owner Curtis Bashaw is responsible for lengthening the tourist season in Cape May City by creating so many great experiences for people to enjoy during the winter season.
It is pure marketing genius demonstrated by Bashaw.
Below, is a gallery of more great photos, that will give you the flavor of how beautiful and wonderful Congress Hall during the Christmas season.
