If You Want a Dog in Atlantic County, NJ, Now is The Time
In the spirit of the holiday season, the Atlantic County Animal Shelter is waiving the regular adoption fees for adopting a dog.
Specifically, the fees are being waived for what’s being described as dogs “That Can Go Home Today."
The regular adoption fee is $ 110.
The County of Atlantic has also added that:
All pets adopted from the shelter receive mandatory sterilization, age appropriate vaccinations, diagnostic testing, a microchip and free veterinary consultation. Canines adopted from the shelter are also provided free obedience classes.
You can rescue a dog and give it a forever home and save on all of the above costly services.
The Atlantic County Animal Shelter is located at 240 Old Turnpike Road in Pleasantville and is open to the public 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily.
Appointments are not necessary.
You can find more information by calling (609) 485-2345.
On a personal note, my wife Margie and I have what we refer to as our “Grand Dogs.”
Meet Sobukwe, Sawyer and Flynn in that order.
They are Lauren Hurley Lauriello, Andrew Lauriello and Rob Hurley’s dogs.
The love that they have given to their human parents and us grandparents is beyond words:
Beginning tomorrow, through December 1, 2024 … it’s the perfect opportunity to change the life of a loving dog and change your own life … by adopting a dog from the Atlantic County Animal Shelter.
