Snyder Was The Glue That Held The Organization Together

I have spoken to numerous area Chief’s of Police and others in law enforcement who all say the same things about how big a loss Pat Snyder is.
Harry Hurley on Pat Snyder

I usually keep my powder dry in matters such as this. However, I make an exception in Pat Snyder’s case.
The retirement of this indispensable chief marks more than the departure of a highly respected leader. It actually signals the loss of the most steady hand in the organization.
Pat Snyder shaped the character and confidence of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. He did so quietly, with supreme dedication to his agency and the public.
In a paramilitary law enforcement agency, where trust, accountability, and decisive leadership are the foundation of every scenario, the loss of Pat Snyder is incalculable.
Influence in leadership extends well beyond policy and command. It is reflected in the culture that is created by an effective leader. Pat Snyder’s judgement could always be trusted.
Chief Snyder leaves behind a legacy that will challenge those who follow him to meet the high standards that he set.
