Skeletal remains found a mile from last sighting

She was not seen after that and was reported missing by her mother to Lopatcong police. The car was recovered. Police believe she may have suffered a head injury in a car crash that same day.

Skeletal remains were found on Friday morning in a creek bed of a tributary of the Back River along the interchange of Route 695 and Route 102, about a mile from the Sky Zone.

The county medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the person's identity and the cause and manner of death.
