The Wildwood Crest Police Department has announced the arrest of Keith Aubrey, 42, on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say the arrest stemmed from an investigation that began in November of 2022.  During the original incident, Aubrey was arrested for an outstanding NCIC warrant for the possession of child pornography.

During a search, officers allegedly found an SD card that they seized from Aubrey.

Police obtained a search warrant and determined that the card contained 1650 items of sexual abuse materials.

An arrest warrant was issued for charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, 2nd degree.

Busted in Wildwood Under the Boardwalk

Yesterday (4/18/2024), Aubrey was located by Wildwood Police under the boardwalk in Wildwood.

He was arrested without incident and taken to Wildwood Crest Police where he was processed and transported to Cape May County Corrections.

In a press release, the Wildwood Crest Police Department thanked the Wildwood Police for their assistance in locating and arresting Keith Aubrey.

Police advise that "any charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless they are proven guilty."
