Joint Atlantic City Shooting Investigation Is Underway

Last night, (Sunday), June 20, 2021, at approximately 8:00 p.m., a video was sent to us which depicts a shooter discharging his weapon on the 1700 block of Atlantic Avenue in Atlantic City.

The multiple shootings took place at just after 6:00 p.m. last night.

We have reviewed the video and count 10 shots being fired in rapid succession, in a brazen daylight shooting spree.

Atlantic City Prosecutor Damon Tyner confirmed last night at 10:24 p.m. that “a male was fatally shot and three others were wounded.”

All four men were transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where one of the males died of his injuries.

A cooperative investigation between the Atlantic County Prosecutors Office and the Atlantic City Police Department is underway.
