Levinson to Deliver Annual Atlantic County, NJ Budget Address
Dennis Levinson has earned a reputation for delivering responsible Atlantic County budgets, year-after-year for decades.
Steve Sweeney, former long-time New Jersey Senate President has publicly stated in the past that Levinson is the finest county executive in the state.
Sweeney has declared his candidacy for Governor of New Jersey … where he will be seeking the Democratic Nomination for the 2025 election cycle.
Levinson is required by Atlantic County, New Jersey statute to deliver an annual budget address before the Atlantic County Board of Chosen Commissioners.
Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson will deliver his annual Executive Budget Message to the Atlantic County Board of Chosen Commissioners at its regular board meeting, set for Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., at 201 South Shore Road Northfield.
In the Atlantic County form of government, the County Executive proposes and the Board of Commissioners disposes.
The County Executive’s budget is a proposal until it is formally adopted by the Board of Commissioners.
The state of New Jersey has issued an extension for the introduction of county budgets.
Levinson will be providing a summary of the current state of the county at the present time.
The actual 2024 county budget will be introduced at a later date.
