28-year-old Camden County Man Killed in Overnight Shooting
Authorities in Camden County are investigating an overnight homicide in Camden.
Acting Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez say cops were called to the intersection of 6th and Viola Streets in Camden around 2:30 Thursday morning for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they located 28-year-old Mahlon Kellum of Camden suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Cops say Kellum was taken to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
The shooting remains under investigation and detectives are working to determine who pulled the trigger.
