Man Arrested for Shooting in Bridgeton

Charges have been filed in connection to a shooting that took place earlier this month in Bridgeton.

NJ.com reports that a 28-year-old Hopewell man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder after trying to shoot a man who approached his group earlier in the month. Bullets failed to penetrate the target, but investigators were able to piece the incident together thanks to security footage.

Charges include weapons offenses, attempted murder, and aggravated assault with a firearm, among others.
