A.C. Man Busted with 513 Bags of Heroin During Police Stop in LEHT

Little Egg Harbor Township Police arrested a man after stopping his car and finding over 500 bags of heroin, assorted other drugs and drug distribution paraphernalia earlier this month.

According to a press release from Little Egg Harbor Township Police, James E. Whitfield, 28, of Atlantic City was stopped on Thursday, Oct. 10  while driving a black KIA 4 door vehicle on Scotch Pine Drive on a narcotics related investigation.

A search of the vehicle and occupants resulted in the seizure of 513 bags of heroin, nine bags of crack cocaine, a quantity of marijuana, and a scale.

Whitfield was charged with two counts of possession and one count of Intent to distribute.
