On December 14, 2015, the body of 15-year-old Nicole Angstadt was found in a vacant home on Vermont Avenue in Rio Grande. Today, the man charged in her homicide was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

In a press release, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland said Charles Mosley will spend the next three decades behind bars after he pleaded guilty this past December to aggravated manslaughter and admitted to killing Andstadt.

The prosecutor's office says Angstadt's body was discovered on December 14th, 2015. An investigation resulted in charges being filed against Mosley for sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. On February 18, 2016, Mosley was then charged with first degree murder and numerous other charges. Four months later, Mosley was indicted on those charges in Cape May County Superior Court. He pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter and admitted to killing Andstadt on December 19th of last year.
