Mangia! New Jersey’s Next Governor Can Also Cook [Opinion]
It’s understandable. Even political junkies can grow weary of the rough and tumble world of electoral politics.
Election seasons are longer than ever before. In fact, they’re never ending.
Whenever you can watch a candidate do something that is human and relatable … it’s really refreshing.
JACK CIATTARELLI IS THE LEADING CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR OF NEW JERSEY
Jack Ciattarelli has great instincts. He knows that you have to give the electorate a break from the relentless world of politics.
Ciattarelli took a break from the traditional daily grind of the campaign trail.
I think it’s a great idea.
CIATTARELLI SHARES OLD FAMILY RECIPE
Had a blast joining Montclair State University President Jonathan Koppell for an episode of Cooking with Koppell! We whipped up my family's legendary meatball recipe — a Ciattarelli favorite that's been passed down through generations, said Ciattarelli.
SOMETIMES WHEN YOU DON’T PLAY POLITICS … IT WINDS UP BEING THE BEST POLITICS!
However, you must be genuine and completely authentic to pull it off. The keen residents of New jersey can spot a phony from a mile away.
You can’t be like Michael Dukakis riding on top of a tank, while wearing a bad-fitting military helmet.
Ciattarelli is relatable and likeable. He looks like a natural while wearing his chef’s apron.
ABOUT HIS TIME AT MONTCLAIR STATE UNIVERSITY, CIATTARELLI SAID …
Big thanks to Montclair faculty, staff, and students who bring this unique series to life. I was proud to share a piece of my Italian family history as well as my vision for the future of New Jersey — all through the universal language of food. Stay tuned for the full episode! said Ciattarelli.
Politics should be more like this … by not being political at all.
Here are some refreshing photos below of Ciattarelli at Montclair State University.
