During Monday evening's "Ask The Mayor" program on WPG Talk Radio 1450, Atlantic City Mayor Don Guardian updated city residents on the paving progress in the World's Play Ground.

It's been a thorn in the side of many city residents for years and Mayor Guardian said that as of this past weekend, half of Pacific Avenue in Atlantic City has been resurfaced with the southbound side remaining to be redone. That side of the road should be finished within the next few weeks. As for other roads in the city, several remained ripped-up as gas and water utility work is performed, then those will be fixed as well. All told, Mayor Guardian says 20 percent of the roads in the city will be resurfaced this year.
