Justin Kuhl of Millville, NJ, Found Guilty
Earlier this week, a Cumberland County Jury returned guilty verdicts against 32-year-old Justin Kuhl on two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault and two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office says those charges originated from several incidents that occurred between January 2019 and September 2020 in Millville.
According to authorities, during that timeframe, Kuhl sexually assaulted a minor under the age of thirteen years old, resulting in her becoming pregnant.
Sentencing
On Wednesday, Kuhl, facing 25 years to life in prison under the Jessica Lunsford Act, was sentenced to 40 years.
He will be required to serve at least 85 percent, or 34 years, of his term before becoming eligible for parole.
Upon release, he will be required to register as a sex offender per Megan’s Law and will be under parole supervision for life.
This case was investigated by members of the New Jersey State Police and the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office. Assistant Prosecutor Holly Fanelle handled the matter for the State.
