Multiple Lakewood and Toms River Residents Arrested on Drug Charges

A three month investigation into drug activity in Northern Ocean County culminated in the arrest of four people, with one remaining at large, from Lakewood and Toms River according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer.

The Prosecutor's Narcotics Strike Force, Northern Enforcement Unit, Lakewood Township Police Department, Toms River Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff's Department completed the investigated into heroin and fentanyl in Ocean County.

Three Ocean County residences were found utilized for storing and distributing heroin, fentanyl and cocaine. Two vehicles, a 2008 Black Chrysler Sebring and a 2008 Ford Edge were also found to be involved in the trafficking of the drugs.

On Wednesday December 19th, a no-knock warrant was executed at 1040 Route 166 Apt. 205 in Toms River, 160 Erica Road and 419 C Chatham Court, both in Lakewood which resulted in heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana and paraphernalia being seized.

Investigators say that these residences were used by Xavier Nelson and others to distribute and store the drugs.

Below are the five arrested and the charges they face:

Xavier Nelson, 29 - two counts of Possession of heroin/fentanyl, one count of Possession of heroin/fentanyl over one half ounce, one count of Distribution of heroin/fentanyl over one half ounce, two counts of Possession of cocaine, two counts of possession of cocaine under one half ounce with the Intent to Distribute, one count of distribution of Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana. He is in Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.

Pilar Rosario, 23 - Possession of heroin/fentanyl, Possession of heroin/fentanyl under one half ounce with the Intent to Distribute, Distribution of heroin/fentanyl under one half ounce and Possession of marijuana. She was released from the Ocean County Jail pending a future court date.

Shanice Reason, 26 - Possession of heroin, Possession of cocaine, Possession of heroin/fentanyl under one half ounce with the Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine under one half ounce with the Intent to Distribute and Possession of Marijuana. She was released pending a future court date.

Dominique Swain, 22 - Possession of marijuana. she was released pending a future court date.

Asianna Marlow, 19 - Conspiracy to Possess with the Intent to Distribute under one half ounce of heroin/fentanyl. A warrant has been issued for Marlow and anyone with information on her whereabouts are asked to contact the Special Operations Group at 732-341-6150.

The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Strike Force, Ocean County Prosecutor's Office High Tech crimes Unit, Ocean county Prosecutor's Office Financial Crime Unit, Toms River Police Department's Street Crimes Unit, Toms River Police Emergency Services Unit, Lakewood Township Police Street Crime Unit, Lakewood Township Police Special Response Team, Ocean County Sheriff's Department K-9 Unit and Ocean County Regional SWAT Team collaborated on the investigation.
