Facing Own Felony Charges, NJ Congresswoman Rips Ice Director

New Jersey Congresswoman LaMonica McIver, D-NJ-10, tore into Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Todd Lyons at a Congressional Committee, yesterday.

McIver Is Outspoken, Despite Facing Her Own Felony Charges:

assaulting federal agents.
impeding and interfering with law enforcement,.

The above criminal charges are as a result of an altercation that took place outside of Delaney Hall last year.

McIver Posed The Following Loaded Questions To Lyons

The following brutal questions took place at yesterday’s United States House Homeland Security Committee oversight hearing

"Do you consider yourself a religious man?"
"How do you think judgment day will work for you with so much blood on your hands?"
“Do you think you’re going to hell”?

Lyons did politely respond “yes ma’am” to the question about whether he is a religious man.

Lyons refused to answer the three loaded questions listed above.

Congressman Andrew Garbarino, R-NY-2

Garbarino is the chairman of the committee. He intervened to advise McIver as to the rules of proper decorum, saying:

The issues we're debating here are important to the ones that members feel deeply about. While vigorous disagreement is part of the legislative process, members are reminded we must adhere to established standards of decorum and debate — aggressively attacking those witnesses is inappropriate, said Garbarino.
