Did You Know That New Jersey Has A New Chief Operating Officer?
Many have said for generations … that government should be run like a business. New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill has taken a big step in this direction.
Give Credit … Where Credit Is Do
New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill has officially hired the first Chief Operating Officer in New Jersey history in Kellie Doucette.
I believe that we should give Governor Sherrill the benefit of the doubt here.
At least give it a chance to succeed before condemning the idea.
What Is The Role Of New Jersey’s Chief Operating Officer?
- Oversee the day-to-day operations. This will work like most large companies. Doucette will be the COO and Governor Sherrill is the CEO.
- The COO will work closely with the Governor’s cabinet.
- The COO will work to streamline: permits, regulatory process, improve productivity, update state services, deliver results just to name a few.
Governor Sherrill Has Announced That New Jersey Is Facing A $ 3 Billion Structural Budget Deficit
Governor Sherrill has says that the budget deficit will be resolved by cuts and not raising taxes.
Previously
Doucette served as Governor Sherrill’s district director for her congressional office from 2019 to 2024.
Doucette previously worked in the healthcare policy field and has many years UFC’s patience as an actuary in the individual disability and long-term care reinsurance markets.
Governor Sherrill Wants to …
Prioritize efficiency and overall operational excellence.
I wish Governor Sherrill well because if she succeeds … we all succeed.
