NJ Congressman Health Emergency: Hospitalized in North Carolina

The Brother of the Camden County, New Jersey Democratic political potentate George Norcross is currently hospitalized in North Carolina.

United States Congressman Donald Norcross, 66 years old, was admitted to UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina this past Sunday.

The Congressman’s office has confirmed that Norcross became ill while traveling in North Carolina.

United States Congressman Donald Norcross, NJ-3 had a health emergency, “likely related to his gallbladder,” according to his congressional office.

Norcross is expected to make a full recovery and when he is cleared to fly … Donald Norcross is expected to be transferred to Cooper Hospital … where George Norcross is Executive Chairman of The Board.

The Democrats have recently lost two House members to death. Donald Norcross is not even close to being in that conversation … but, he is unable to currently vote.

This means that the Democrats are now 8 votes behind the Republican majority, heading towards a crucial budget resolution vote.

The timing of the Norcross health scare is also somewhat convenient, as the House of Representatives will be heading soon to a two-week recess … giving Norcross extra time to heal.

Norcross has served as New Jersey’s 3rd District United States Congressman since 2014.

Norcross is reported to be in stable condition.
