
Williamstown, NJ, Man Sold Meth, Fentanyl to Undercover Agent, Faces Life in Prison
A jury has found a Gloucester County man guilty of distributing methamphetamine and fentanyl.
Details of Charges Against Ian Dudley
39-year-old Ian Dudley of Williamstown was convicted earlier this month on charges of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and six counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and/or fentanyl.
Federal authorities say from June through October 2023, Dudley conspired with Joseph Watson and others to distribute crystal methamphetamine and fentanyl across Camden and Gloucester Counties.
During that time, Dudley "sold approximately 17.5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine and approximately one ounce of fentanyl to an undercover federal agent."
Sentencing and Potential Penalties
The counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, and two of the counts of distribution of methamphetamine, could send Dudley to prison for up to 20 years with a $1,000,000 fine. Four of the counts for distribution of methamphetamine and/or fentanyl potentially carry a life sentence.
Sentencing is scheduled for October 22nd.
