
NJ Sen. Frank Lautenberg Dies at Age 89
Democratic Sen. Frank Lautenberg, the oldest member of the Senate and the longest-serving New Jersey senator, died Monday at age 89, Democratic sources told Fox News.
Lautenberg, who had been battling health problems, died of viral pneumonia.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will be tasked with appointing a replacement for Lautenberg, who was not planning to seek re-election in 2014.
