A Cape May County man is facing several years behind bars in connection with drugs and a domestic violence incident.

Earlier this week, 25-year-old Jordan Gerald Wilson from Ocean City pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance, third-degree aggravated assault on a domestic violence victim, and second-degree possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 500 feet of a public building.

Domestic Violence Incident in Atlantic City

Prosecutors say on November 22nd of last year, cops with the Atlantic City Police Department were called to a home for a report of a domestic violence incident. Police spoke to the victim, who said Wilson threw her onto the ground and slammed a door on her finger, causing it to break. Wilson fled the scene before police arrived.

Cocaine Arrest Near City Hall

On December 15th, ACPD officers located Wilson in the area of City Hall with over one ounce of cocaine. He was arrested and charged accordingly.

Plea Deal and Sentencing

Sentencing is scheduled for March 13th. His plea deal calls for a five-year sentence in state prison.
