Philadelphia Eagles wide receivers had a rough day on Sunday, dropping at least seven passes in the teams loss to the Lions, however head coach Doug Pederson is optimistic that help is on the way.

"I'm hoping that he's ready to go, we'll see this week," Pederson stated.  "We have a couple days, but walk through later today, we'll get the guys in here and I'm hoping he's ready to go."

Jeffery suffered a calf injury back in the Eagles Week 2 loss in Atlanta and was held out of the game on Sunday against Detroit.

So far this season Jeffery has five catches for 49 yards and one score, but would provide Carson Wentz with a veteran option in the pass game, especially with DeSean Jackson expected to miss his second game in a row and J.J. Arcega-Whiteside appearing on the injury report with a heel issue.

Meanwhile cornerback Ronald Darby could be out for a longer period of time due to a hamstring injury, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

While Darby has had his struggles, it would leave the Eagles down a key player against Aaron Rodgers on Thursday night.  Expect Sidney Jones and Rasul Douglas to get the start in Darby's absence.
