Pedestrian Killed in Accident on Route 40 in Atlantic City
One person is dead following a car-pedestrian accident on Route 40 near the Atlantic City-Egg Harbor Township border Tuesday night.
Not many details are available, but Atlantic City Police were asking people to avoid the area near the Exit 2/Atlantic City Expressway entrance last night. The entrance was closed for several hours with detours in place.

When police sent out an alert late last night, they said they expected the investigation to take several hours.
