If you blinked, you missed it -- and, chances are, you didn't even know about it, but President George W. Bush was in Atlantic City Thursday morning.

No, he wasn't in town to gamble or to check out the new Observation Wheel at Steel Pier. President Bush paid a very quick visit to Borgata to make a speech at the Freedom Mortgage Leadership Conference, according to The Press of Atlantic City.

Reports say his private jet landed at ACY around 9:30 Thursday morning and he was already out-of-town by 12:30.

Had we known he was going to be in our area today, we would have extended an invitation to him so he could have joined our cheesy celebration of National Grilled Cheese Day. Anytime you wish to stop by our studios, Mr. President, cheese or no cheese, our door is always open.
