Heads-up if you recently purchased some ready-to-eat chicken products at area supermarkets.

According to NJ.com, Tip Top Poultry has recalled ready-to-eat chicken products that were shipped nationwide after several samples tested positive for listeria.

The chicken products were sold at Aldi, Kings Supermarket, BI-LO, and Weis Markets across New Jersey. In addition, Casel’s Supermarket in Margate also sold the chicken.

Listeriosis can cause fever, muscle aches, headache, stiff neck, confusion, loss of balance and convulsions.

A full list of the numerous brands of food that the recalled chicken may be a part of can be found on the USDA's website.
