Resorts Casino Atlantic City Will Celebrate With Kelsey Grammer

Resorts Casino Hotel Atlantic City will be celebrating their 45th Anniversary with the noted actor Kelsey Grammer and Atlantic City Mayor Marty Small on Memorial Day Weekend.

The weekend of events is set to begin on Friday, May 26, 2023, when Grammer and Small will host the Annual Opening of the Sea Ceremony at 1:00 p.m., followed by boardwalk entertainment.

The Annual Beach Ball Drop over the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk will take place at 5:00 p.m.

"Being the first Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, it's a huge accomplishment to celebrate 45 years of operation," said Mark Giannantonio, President and CEO at Resorts Casino Hotel.

"This wonderful milestone is a testament to the culture at our hotel, the hard work and dedication of our team members and the loyalty of our guests. We look forward to continued growth and success as Resorts Casino Hotel embarks on its next 45 years and beyond,” said Giannantonio.

Resorts will have a number of retro-themed activities, including a pop up 45th Anniversary themed Lounge 78 (the year that Resorts opened). This lounge will be opened all summer long.

The grand opening is on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Bar One.

There will be fun, music and throwback feel to 1978 and Kelsey Grammer, who loves Atlantic City.

It's not officially the summer season until Resorts Casino Hotel drops 5,000 Beach balls on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

It's magical, as the 5,000 beach balls will be suspended over the boardwalk and then released on the crowd below as part of Resorts' Annual Beach Ball Drop.
