
Small Fire Temporarily Closes Popular Restaurant in Wildwood: ‘We are okay!’
Wildwood, N.J. — A small fire has temporarily closed a family-owned restaurant in Wildwood.
According to the Wildwood Fire Department, at about 1:40 early Monday morning, its crews, along with neighboring fire departments, were dispatched to Duffinetti's Restaurant and Lounge on the 4600 block of Pacific Avenue for an activated fire alarm.
At the scene, firefighters discovered a working fire with heavy smoke in the establishment's rear kitchen area.
Crews Quickly Bring Blaze Under Control
Luckily, the department said that with their quick response, the fire was placed under control in 15 minutes, damage was kept to a minimum, and no injuries were reported.
The Cape May County Fire Marshal's Office determined the blaze to be accidental.

Restaurant Announces Temporary Closure
Duffinetti's took to Facebook later Monday morning and provided this update:
Duffinetti’s will be closed June 16th and 17th due to a small fire in the kitchen that happened overnight. Check our Facebook for an update for Wednesday. We are okay!
