Services Announced for Mizpah Firefighter Killed on Christmas Morning
Services have been announced for a Mizpah firefighter who was killed in a crash on Christmas Day.
According to a post on the Mizpah Volunteer Fire Company Facebook page, services for Natalie Dempsey will be held at Absegami High School this Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 4:00. It's an open invitation for all firefighters and apparatus to, "[send] our girl off loud and proud."
21-year-old Natalie Dempsey was killed just before sunrise Christmas morning as she responded to a call.
Hamilton Township Police say she was driving westbound on Landis Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a guard rail. Dempsey was a volunteer firefighter for the Mizpah Fire Company; she had just become vice president of the fire company.
