It looks like Atlantic City is getting a year-round indoor water park and ground will break on the project this summer.

The $100 million attraction is the brainchild of Showboat hotel owner Bart Blatstein.

According to The Press of Atlantic City, the developer recently applied for a state tax credit to help pay for the water park.

Building of the park will reportedly break ground this August.

While there are rides and other attractions to be found in the shore town, the water park will hopefully give vacating families something more to do in Atlantic City for more months out of the year since it will be entirely indoors.

Blatstein tells The Press of Atlantic City, "Atlantic City does not have a family market. This will open up a whole new market that doesn't exist."

So, where's the water park going to be built? Near Showboat, according to Blatstein, on an existing lot between Showboat and Ocean Casino Resort.
