National Retailer Closing ALL Stores Including One In New Jersey
Do you drive from store to store looking for all the things you need to buy or do you just shop online?
Shopping habits have definitely changed over the years, especially since the pandemic, with more and more people opting to shop online rather than in-store.
There are still lots of people who would much rather go in a store and pick out what they want, however many retailers are opting out of brick-and-mortar retail and focusing more on e-commerce.
Many businesses are scaling back on retail space or getting rid of it all together.
After 24 years in business, this national retailer is doing just that.
They're closing all of their retail stores across the country and shifting the focus to just online.
A huge closing sale is going on right now and everything must go.
I was just there over the weekend and the entire store is 70 percent off.
Soft Surroundings, located at The Promenade at Sagemore on Route 73 South in Marlton is the latest to soon close.
The store "offers stylish, luxurious & comfortable women's clothes for every size."
Moving forward, the entire collection will be available online.
According to Yahoo Finance, Soft Surroundings filed for Chapter 11 reorganization back in September.
"Going forward the entire Soft Surroundings collection will continue to be available online at softsurroundings.com."
The store closing discounts will only apply at retails stores and NOT online.
