I just spoke with Stockton University President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Harvey Kesselman.

With all due respect to the coronavirus, Dr. Kesselman shared with me that he has just postponed the scheduled Friday, March 27 groundbreaking for phase II of the Stockton University Atlantic City Campus.

This is a disruption of only the ceremonial gathering. Dr. Kesselman was clear that that project is moving forward and he will be rescheduling the groundbreaking ceremony in the near future.

The introduction of the Stockton University Atlantic City campus has successfully turned the World’s Playground into a vibrant “college town.”

Phase I has been a tremendous success and it was basically outgrown before it even opened.

It has become a preeminent educational delivery system and center for learning that has earned a highly respected, national caliber reputation.

The environment is one that is breathtaking in nature and it has created such a unique atmosphere from which the highest quality learning has been achieved.

The Phase II expansion will be very exciting for Stockton University and our Region.
