Investigators are looking into who killed a man and his dog on Saturday morning at the Olympus Apartments on Baker Boulevard in Evesham Township.

The death of the man is being ruled as suspicious in nature and a person of interest in connection to the incident is in custody, according to a joint statement from Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Evesham Township Acting Chief of Police Walter Miller.

Evesham Police responded to the apartment complex at 9:13 am for a report of a possible dog attack on a resident of the complex.

The Burlington County Prosecutor's Office and Evesham Police are withholding the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
