Suspicious Vehicles in Galloway Park Leads to Two Arrests
Police in Galloway Township say two people were arrested Sunday afternoon and are now facing drug-related charges.
According to a post on Facebook, two Galloway police officers were conducting a property check at Tartaglio Park on South Genoa Ave. at around noon Sunday when they saw two suspicious vehicles, most notably because the park was closed at the time.
Following an investigation, 25-year-old Eian Donati of Mullica Township was arrested for possession of CDS (three counts) and distribution of CDS (three counts). Donati, according to police, was found to be in possession of 234 grams of raw marijuana, THC edibles, hashish oil, hallucinogenic mushrooms and LSD tabs. He was also charged with possession of CDS within 500 feet of a public park along with several other charges.
The operator of the second vehicle, 25-year-old Christian Porreca of Ocean City, was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, loitering to commit a CDS offense, and loitering in a public park after hours.
All charges were placed on summons and the two that were arrested were released pending court appearances.
