The warm welcome that Gov. Christie gave to President Obama in the 2012 aftermath of Superstorm Sandy was called up as model behavior by Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday.
"When you've got a candidate who spoke at a 'Stop the Steal' rally, you can bet he's not going to be a champion of democracy," Obama said at the Newark campaign stop for the Democratic governor's reelection.
Former President Barack Obama will be in Newark on Saturday, Oct. 23 for a campaign rally with Gov. Phil Murphy that coincides with the start of early in-person voting in New Jersey.
