The film is already the top-grossing movie of the year.

Last night, the official Into the Spider-Verse account tweeted a mysterious tease, writing “Something's up. Our Spidey sense is tingling. RT if yours is, too.”

The longer the stalemate drags on, the more it looks like Spider-Man really is done in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
