Teen Charged with 24 Car Burglaries in Hamilton Township
Two teenagers have been charged in Hamilton Township in connection to a string of car burglaries.
Hamilton Township Police say in the early morning hours of Wednesday, officers responded to the area of Club House Lane for the report of a car burglary in progress.
According to a press release, "two subjects were observed by a civilian attempting to gain access to a vehicle. When officers arrived on scene, the subjects fled on foot. A police K9 was utilized to track the subjects, who were located and arrested without incident."
19-year-old Classy Bordley of Mays Landing (pictured) was charged with a total of seven motor vehicle burglaries and thefts, eluding, and conspiracy.
An unnamed 17-year-old, also from Mays Landing, was charged with 24 motor vehicle burglaries and thefts, eluding, conspiracy, tampering with evidence, and curfew.
Bordley was released on a summons, per criminal justice reform, and the juvenile was released to his parents on the Home Electronic Detention System.
