This Popular Philadelphia Pizza Shop Is Expanding In New Jersey

Jersey really does love its pizza shops, that's just a plain fact.

We have so many amazing little mom-pop pizza shops that it can be overwhelming to decide where to get a slice from.

For example, you have Johnny G's in Silverton which has great pizza, and you've got Brooklyn Square in Toms River which is regularly called some of Ocean County's best.

And don't even get me started on boardwalk pizza.

With slices bigger than your torso, and so many options it can be a pretty heated debate deciding which shop is best.

Now, I'm not going to lie I'm a Philly native and although I don't think Philly pizza is nearly as good as what you get in Jersey, you can still get a good slice.

Especially if you swing by South Street and hit Lorenzos, which is arguably the most popular pizza shop in Philadelphia.

So, when I see a pizza shop from my old stomping grounds getting ready to expand to the Jersey Shore I'm pretty excited, to say the least.

What Philadelphia-Based Pizza Shop Is Expanding To The Jersey Shore?

It's a place that's really well known for its square pizzas, which is exactly what it sounds like; a square pie with tomato sauce and cheese.

With several locations in PA, and a few shops in Jersey already, this place is getting ready to start a new chapter here at the Jersey Shore

Coming soon to Brigantine, specifically to the old 7-11 off Brigantine Boulevard, NJ.com reports that Ssantucci's Original Square Pizza will soon be at the Jersey Shore.

The new restaurant, according to NJ.com will boast two levels and will provide hot, fresh, and delicious pizza to the shore.

What's wild though is that this place makes its pizza with the sauce on top of the cheese, check it out!

Honestly, it looks delicious and totally worth a try.
