State troopers have arrested three people for allegedly kidnapping and robbing a man at gunpoint in Upper Deerfield Township last month.

Authorities say 19-year-old Amir Cook of Bridgeton, along with 28-year-old Dashon Harris and 18-year-old Ketara Malloy, both of New Castle, DE, are facing charges.

According to police, on Friday night, December 20th, troopers responded to the report of an armed robbery at Wawa on Route 77 in Bridgeton. The victim said he was robbed at gunpoint by two masked suspects at his home and forced to drive to Wawa to withdraw cash from an ATM.

Investigators say the incident played-out this way:

The victim told troopers he was leaving his residence with Ketara Malloy earlier in the evening when two masked suspects approached him and brandished handguns. The suspects directed Malloy to leave and demanded money from victim. After handing the suspects cash, the victim was forced back into his residence where the suspects demanded more money. The suspects then made the victim drive to the Wawa at gunpoint.

Once they arrived at the Wawa, the victim, along with one of the suspects, entered and made a cash withdrawal from the ATM. While returning to his vehicle with the suspect, the victim escaped and re-entered the Wawa to call 9-1-1. The suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, which was later recovered in Bridgeton City.

State Police detectives allege that Malloy conspired with Cook and Harris to target the victim and plan the robbery. As a result, troopers issued warrants for the arrest of all three suspects.

On Christmas Day, Amir Cook was arrested by Bridgeton City Police during a traffic stop. He was charged with robbery, kidnapping, conspiracy, possession of weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, burglary, and theft.

On Monday, Ketara Malloy turned herself in to troopers in Bridgeton where she was arrested and charged with robbery and conspiracy.

On Tuesday, detectives located and arrested Dashon Harris at a home in Bridgeton. He was charged with robbery, kidnapping, conspiracy, possession of weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, burglary, and theft.
