
Three Stabbed at Tropicana Early Monday Morning
Three people are recovering after they were stabbed on the casino floor at Tropicana early Monday morning.
KYW-TV reports state police responded to an altercation at Tropicana just before 3AM; four people were arrested.
All three victims were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center; one person sustained life-threatening injuries and is in serious condition, according to the report.
The four people arrested were 30-year-old Jabari Cummings of Brooklyn, NY; 32-year-old Delroy McNeil of Cary, NC; 25-year-old Shaun Laney of Machias, NY; and 22-year-old Tyevon Walker of Brooklyn, NY.
Cummings was charged with criminal attempt homicide, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, aggravated assault, possession of CDS crack/cocaine, and tampering with evidence.
McNeil, who was one of the stabbing victims, was charged with criminal attempted homicide, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes, and aggravated assault.
Laney and Walker were both charged with robbery.
An investigation into the incident continues. The Press of Atlantic City reports they reached-out to casino officials for a comment but they have not yet responded.
