COVID-19 has claimed the lives of six more people in Atlantic County.

According to Atlantic County's Division of Public Health, five of the people were from Hammonton and included a 70-year-old man, two 79-year-old women, a 75-year-old woman, and a 98-year-old woman. The sixth person was a 79-year-old man from Galloway Township. All six has pre-existing health conditions, according to the county.

33 new positive cases were also reported on Thursday. That includes 13 men, ages 26 to 90, and 20 women, ages 22 to 97.

As of today, 551 residents have tested positive, 29 have died, and 108 have been cleared as recovered.

Galloway Township and Northfield - 5 each
Egg Harbor Township and Hammonton - 4 each
Atlantic City - 3
Linwood, Mullica Township, Somers Point, Ventnor City - 2 each
Buena Vista Township, Folsom, Hamilton Township, Margate City - 1 each

Testing for COVID-19 will continue next Tuesday, April 28th, and Thursday, April 30th, by appointment only, for symptomatic county residents with a doctor’s prescription at Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing. Residents may make an appointment on the county's website.
