Tractor Trailer Drives Over 2 Miles on the Atlantic City and Ventnor Boardwalks

A tractor trailer driver has some explaining to do after he drove his big rig on the Atlantic City and Ventnor Boardwalks early Wednesday morning.

Ted Greenberg from NBC 10 reports the truck drove onto the Atlantic City Boardwalk at Albany Avenue before sunrise Wednesday morning then drove nearly two and a half miles down to Washington Avenue in Ventnor. Once there, crews then had to take down railings to get the truck off of the boardwalk.

The red line in the map above shows the approximate distance the truck drove. Officers say the truck driver will likely receive several tickets.
