State Troopers in western Atlantic County are asking for the public’s help with identifying a group of women wanted for the theft of $18,000 cash and other items stolen from the Krystal Vy Chinese Restaurant on the Black Horse Pike in Folsom.

This past Saturday afternoon, police say six women entered the restaurant, placed an order, and payed with cash. While one of the suspects distracted the restaurant worker, another suspect went behind the counter and stole the worker’s purse.

The suspects left the restaurant in a newer model tan Toyota Sienna with what appears to be a New Jersey temporary license plate. Troopers believe all six women were working together.

Detectives later discovered that the same group of suspects entered a nearby business and unsuccessfully used similar techniques.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the New Jersey State Police at (609) 561-1800.
