Two people from Philadelphia have been arrested on gun charges after they allegedly left a stolen gun at a motel room in Wildwood.

Officials in Wildwood say officers responded to an unnamed motel in the city on Tuesday in connection to an unattended firearm which was left in a room after those in the room checked-out. Cops say the weapon was a loaded Glock Model 19 9mm gun with an illegal large capacity magazine that was reported stolen out of Philadelphia.

An investigation resulted in two people being detailed -- 22-year-old Samuel J. Rivera and Joshue Centeno-Silva, both of Philadelphia.

Both were charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a large capacity magazine, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy to possess a firearm; both were held in the Cape May County Correctional Center.
