Two Hospitalized Following Car Accident in Stafford Township

There wasn't as much snow as anticipated but roads still remain treacherous on Tuesday. The weather may have led to an accident on Route 72 near Barnacle Drive in Stafford Township.

Two people transported to Southern Ocean Medical Center after an accident around 7:52 Tuesday morning, according to Stafford Township Emergency Medical Services who sent out Squad 38.

"We want to try and get the word out there to everyone about this intersection. There are no left turns coming out of Barnacle Dr onto Rt 72 or going into Barnacle Dr from Rt 72," said the squad.

It's not known yet what caused the accident or who was involved.

Stafford Township Police have not yet returned a request for further information on this morning's accident.
