Vendor Will Not Take The Noncitizen Blame From New Jersey Gov.

In politics, as long as you have someone else to blame, all is well. New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill is blaming a software vendor for thousands of noncitizens being eligible to vote.

Nope.

The vendor, named IDEMIA is not allowing this phony narrative to take root. The software vendor says that the state of New Jersey knew that more than 6,600 noncitizens were registered to vote and approved it.

The 6,600 records submitted to the [Motor Vehicle Commission] and Division of Elections contained correct information according to the design specifications as set out by the state, Lisa Shoemaker, a spokesperson for IDEMIA, told The New York Post on Wednesday. All 6,600 individuals indicated 'Yes' to wanting to register to vote and 'NO' to being a US Citizen, said Shoemaker.

Shoemaker made it clear that all information was recorded correctly and “at no point was a noncitizen ever marked as a citizen in the database, said Shoemaker.

New Jersey Is Refusing To Turn Records Over To The United States Department of Justice

The federal government has opened up a formal investigation into the noncitizen voting scheme.

Governor Sherrill is refusing to turn the noncitizen voting records over — maintaining that personal information of these individuals cannot be compromised.

This sounds like a very flimsy excuse — that should be allowed to hold up.
