Wanted Atlantic City, NJ, Man Arrested on Murder, Weapons Charges
Authorities say an Atlantic City man who was wanted on murder and weapons charges was arrested early Thursday morning.
48-year-old Kenneth Creek was taken into custody by members of the United States Marshals Service, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Atlantic City Police Department.
Creek had been wanted since last August for allegedly killing 31-year-old Jordan Eaddy of Philadelphia.
According to prosecutors, just after midnight on Thursday, August 25th, officers with the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter Alert in the area of the 1300 block of Baltic Avenue. At the scene, they found Eaddy, who was pronounced dead.
Creek and his codefendant, Aaron Callahan, were indicted on November 29th by an Atlantic County Grand Jury.
Creek was indicted on the following charges:
- First-degree murder
- First-degree conspiracy to commit murder
- Second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun without a permit
- Second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose
- Second-Degree certain persons not to have weapons or ammunition
Callahan was also indicted on those charges except for certain persons not to have weapons or ammunition.
