Why Was Taylor Swift Booed at Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl?
You could tell that Fox Sports gave consideration to the amount of times that Taylor Swift would be shown on television during Super Bowl LIV … featuring The Philadelphia Eagles versus The Kansas City Chiefs.
A nauseating amount of coverage was focused on the subject, “Would The Kansas City Chiefs win their 3rd consecutive Super Bowl?”
This is a feat that has never been accomplished in the Super Bowl era, which dates back 59 years.
It still hasn’t happened, as The Eagles dominated The Chiefs 40-22, in a game that wasn’t as close as the still blowout score.
Now, on to Taylor Swift.
I saw her shown once during the 4:00 p.m., or, 5:00 p.m. hour during the pregame show.
I remember seeing her just one additional time during the game and the crowd noticeably booed her.
At first, Taylor Swift appeared to be surprised by the overtly negative fan reaction.
Then, she quickly composed herself and gently smiled. It all happened very fast and she handled it well.
This begs the question, why did The Super Bowl LIV stadium crowd boo Taylor Swift?
She’s a very good and generous person. There is no legitimate reason to boo her.
Fans were sick and tired of hearing about the coveted “Threepeat” and The Chiefs in general.
That leaves only one logical answer. Kansas City Chiefs fatigue.
Many NFL fans also believe that The Kansas City Chiefs receive preferential treatment from officiating crews throughout the season … and, through out the years.
From the beginning of the actual team coverage … it was obvious that the Super Bowl LIV crowd favored The Philadelphia Eagles by a wide margin.
Taylor Swift’s only “crime” is that she is Travis Kelce’s girlfriend … and, by extension, the pro-Eagles environment against The Chiefs extended to Swift.
It’s as simple and unfair as that.
Case solved.
